THE WAVEDANCER X
While designing the WAVEDANCER X the target was to create a board that gives freedom to add vertical performance without sacrificing easy glide in week surf to still have an allrounder handling any kind of wave. The concept is totally different the board has an accelerated flat step deck design to have thin sharp rails, a shortboard performance deep double concave in the tail for a lot of lift and speed allowing to add considerable tail rocker.
The nose is less wide and has a slight bit more nose rocker in the top front not to catch nose and rail in tighter turns. In general, the board can be ridden a bit shorter still offering the volume, stability while having performance rails.

Surf in anything from 1 to 8 foot & flat water also, the WAVEDANCER X is your go to Sup for all conditions - is a real noserider featuring all details of a real surf longboard: deep nose concave for max. lift to double concave for control. The WAVEDANCER X, got a slight bit more tailrocker, low volume step rails to give you the real surf feeling and bite when needed and a pintail with hard edges to stand big drops and steep waves with ease. Hands on, this is the most complete sup surfboard ever built. Suits the need of flatwater paddling for lightweight riders( wife and kids ) and glances in surf conditions from 1 ft to 6ft or even bigger.

SUP surfing for 8 days in Hossegor Culs Nuls in mostly 10s / 1,2m surf in offshore and no wind was the best testing ground for the all new WAVEDANCER X. This incredible beachbreak is known for fast surf and runs have been up to 250m in up to head high perfect walls.
I brought all 3 dimensions of the WAVEDANCER X to see what I like best to give insight advise to our customers. Having had 85km on my Garmin watch I believe it has been more than 30km of surfing and that is the beauty about SUP surfing – you get a lot of speed, distance and flow.
The original WAVEDANCER is still valid as it is the best classic Longboard SUP surfboard with a concave noserider style shape, pintail, thin rails and a vee in the tail. It can handle the smallest surf and loves the high line in larger waves.

SUP surfing is not as fast as real surfing but given the amount of stoke you get it is pretty high in the ranks. I observe a lot of surfers and sup surfers on boards way too small and they fuck up a lot of good waves so that they don´t get the practice to take the next steps.
All above boards and dimensions work for a very wide range of paddler weight. The smallest version is for experienced heavy weights and the biggest one the best choice for beginners but delivers to experienced sup longboard lovers.
My go to dimensions at 90 kg is the 9´8” as a board for any kind of condition and I love it – best boatd ever! Given some stats check the Garmin – speed in waves like above mentioned up to 30km/h and believe me this feels like flying. Hope to get some live action pics / videos in my last days here as some friends arrived.
